Dentons announced that one of Ukraine’s leading legal practitioners, Adam Mycyk, has joined the firm’s Corporate practice as a partner based in Kyiv.

Adam is a highly-regarded corporate lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in Ukraine and is one of the few US-qualified attorneys working in Ukraine. He joins from the Kyiv office of Chadbourne & Parke.

Prior to that Adam was a partner at CMS Cameron McKenna in Kyiv where he led the Corporate/M&A group and co-led the Banking & International Finance practice. He also served as the Managing Partner of CMS’s Kyiv office in 2008-2012.

Adam regularly advises multinationals and foreign companies, Ukrainian companies, banks, investment banks and other financial institutions on structuring and implementing debt and equity inward investments, including corporate/M&A and on complex cross-border commercial and financing transactions. His practice focuses on both advisory and transactional work. In recent years he has worked on several oil & gas and energy transactions as well as on transactions on international capital markets.

Mr. Mycyk graduated from the George Washington University, B.A., International Affairs, in 1988 and The Catholic University of America, The Columbus School of Law, J.D., in 1991. He is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars.

Adam has consistently been recognized by international and local legal directories as one of the leading lawyers for corporate, banking and finance and energy in Ukraine.
