You're reading: The “Fahd Salem Al Ali Center” provides humanitarian aid for orphans and refugees in Ukraine.

Using its vast experience in helping orphans and the world's needy and relying on Kuwait's desire to play a major role in helping orphaned refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine, "Fahd al-Salem Ali Centre" aims to launch more relief and humanitarian projects in Ukraine, including the implementation of development projects in children's homes with long-term returns and benefits.

The center
also seeks to examine the circumstances of certain cases of detention, and the
reasons that led to the people’s imprisonment. The center examines such cases
with the goal of working with the authorities in order to mitigate the
verdicts, as well as to determine the prisoner’s role in the community during
their return to their children and families.

The center
will carry out its activities in cooperation with the “Ukrainian Dialogue and Communication
Centre”
to examine the situation of Ukrainian refugees who fled their towns and
villages as a result of the war in Ukraine. The center will create a department
for refugees to study the number of refugees, their places of concentration and
their humanitarian needs, to help them and their children in the hope of easing
their difficult circumstances.

These
actions have led to the greeting of many heads of shelters for orphans and
refugee centers, thanks to the center’s inherent values
of compassion and humanity, especially when this activity is carried out
in a
difficult period,
amid an economic crisis in their own country.
