Some 289 chestnuts trees will be planted on the main street of Kyiv, Khreschatyk, Director General of the Kyivzelenbud municipally owned enterprise Mykhailo Tsarenko has reported.
According to him, the chestnut trees will be planted at the beginning of October.
"The chestnuts are called Brioti, they are 4.5-5 meters high, brought from Europe, and the prime cost of each seedling is Hr 6,000-6,500", he said.
