Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv) is operating as usual on March 25, the airport's press service reported. 

Over the past three days, the airport services have been working in emergency mode due to heavy snowfall and have been maintaining the airport facilities in good operational condition.

At present, all the runways, aprons, aircraft parking areas and taxiways have been cleared.

As reported, a month’s worth of snow had fallen on Kyiv region overnight by Saturday morning.

Boryspil International Airport cancelled all flights on Saturday. It started resuming its services at 1400 on Sunday.

Boryspil International Airport is the main airport of the country and services 65% of the passenger air traffic in Ukraine. It is the only airport in Ukraine from which intercontinental flights are performed.
