Kyiv City Council has allocated two land plots with a total area of 32.7 hectares in the city's Kharkivsky residential area to Kyivmiskbud holding company to build affordable housing under a mortgage support program.
At a sitting on Thursday, Kyiv City Council passed a land plot with an area of 12.33 hectares on the intersection of Petro Hryhorenko Avenue and Borys Hmyria Street in Darnytsia District to Kyivmiskbud on a 15-year lease to build multi-story residential buildings with hotel, office, entertainment and community facilities.
Another land plot, with an area of 20.41 hectares between Borys Hmyria Street and Kolektorna Street in Darnytsia District, was also passed to Kyivmiskbud on a 15-year lease for the same purpose.
At the same time, Kyiv City Council approved a mortgage credit support program for building affordable housing. Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said Kyivmiskbud would get 35 hectares in Kyiv’s Osokorky district to implement this program.
