The Kyiv city state administration has lifted the ban on parking vehicles at sidewalks in Khreschatyk Street.

This is stated in the corresponding Kyiv city state administration’s decision.

The current decision recognized the Kyiv city state administration’s previous instruction dated March 4, 2008 to ban parking vehicles at Khreschatyk sidewalks as null and void.

The current resolution aims at creating appropriate conditions for drivers parking their cars in Khreschatyk Street.

As Ukrainian News reported, in March 2008, the Kyiv city state administration banned parking cars on sidewalks in Khreschatyk Street.

In spite of the ban, drivers continued parking their cars at Khreschatyk sideways.

In July 2006, the Kyiv city state administration decided to organize paid parking sites with partial or full transport driving onto the sidewalks.
