You're reading: Kyiv puts stake in Kalita farm up for sale

The territorial community of Kyiv has put its 16.4 million shares in PJSC Kalita farm (9.53 percent of the charter capital) up for sale.

The relevant announcement was published in the Khreschatyk newspaper.

An auction for the sale of this stake will be held on January 31,
2014 at 1000 on the Ukrainian Interbank Currency Exchange. The starting
price of the stake is Hr 5.095 million (excluding VAT).

As reported, in July this year the territorial community of Kyiv was
seeking an appraiser of its 9.53 percent stake in PJSC Kalita for its further
sale.

PJSC Kalita farm (Kyiv region, Brovary district) is engaged in breeding pigs and meat production.

In late August, Smart-holding sold its stake in the farm. The owner
of an 89.68 percent stake in the company became Agrodim Leader LLC, which is
headed by the former head of Karavan LLC.
