Kyiv city council has created a temporary commission to check the use of property and land plots and the current economic operation of municipal markets.

A total of 101 lawmakers supported the decision on Thursday, Sept. 20.

The main task of the commission is to check the use of property, land plots and current economic operations of the following municipal markets: Volodymyrsky, Zhytny, Besarabsky and other markets.

The decision was made as there is a problem with the allocation of land plots and low rent rates for land.
