Head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) Oleksandr Popov has instructed municipal utility services to solve all organizational problems and equip bicycle parking spaces in Kyiv within the next month and a half, according to the press service of the KCSA.

Deputy Head of the KCSA Anatoliy Holubchenko said that the municipal authorities have approved the plan of location, specific addresses for the equipment of the parking facilities, as well as their design with Kyiv Cyclists’ Association and the State Automobile Inspectorate.

“Today we are deciding who will manage assets of the bicycle parking spaces, I mean a municipal company that will be responsible for the maintenance of the parking spaces. As soon as the issue is settled, their equipment will start. We are planning to finish this work in October,” Holubchenko said.
