Palats Sportu, Olympiyska metro station to be closed for entry and exit on Wednesday

The Palats Sportu (Sports Palace) and Olympiyska stations of Kyiv Metro will be closed for entry due to the concert.

The Palats Sportu (Sports Palace) and Olympiyska stations of Kyiv Metro will be closed for entry and exit from 16.00 to 19.00 and from 23.00 to 24.00 on July 25 due to the holding of the Tuborg GreenFest Festival featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers at Olympiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv.

During that time trains won't stop at the Olympiyska station and the Palats Sportu station will work only as an interchange station, according to the official Web site of Kyiv subway. 

The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action. The newspaper believes in a robust public debate, but the discussion must be constructive and intelligent. For the time being, the Kyiv Post will allow comments on its moderated Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/kyivpost/.
