An additional Hr 20 million will be allocated from Kyiv's budget to the municipally owned Kyivsky Metropoliten enterprise to ensure stable operations, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov has said.

"I promised the subway leadership that we’ll find an additional Hr 15-20 million within a month to finance planned measures related to the stable operation of the subway," he said at a visiting session at the Osokorky subway station on Friday, April 6.

Popov said that he had warned the company’s leadership of personal responsibility for the stable functioning of the city’s subway system.

"They have some professional experience, and I think they will cope with this task," he said.
