Popov to appoint heads of Kyiv district administrations

The heads of district administrations in Kyiv, as well as the first deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), will be appointed next week, KCSA Chairman Oleksandr Popov has said. "I think that a final decision [on the appointments] will be taken next week," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Viktor Pylypyshyn, who currently serves as the head of the Shevchenkivska district state administration, could be appointed the first deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration.
The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action.
