Some 400,000 Kyiv residents will receive material aid in amount of UAH 100-500 from the city budget for Independence Day.
Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov has signed a relevant instruction, according to the press service of Kyiv City State Administration.
"Some 400,000 Kyiv residents will receive aid for Independence Day. Payments have started on August 8. Kyiv residents will receive the payments in time, according to schedule together with pensions, and all payments will be distributed by August 20-22. Kyiv residents will receive UAH 100-500," Popov said.
Thus, families of soldiers that were killed in Afghanistan will receive UAH 500, poor families and families having many children will receive UAH 300, and unemployed pensioners whose pensions are lower than UAH 1,400 will receive UAH 100.
