Teremky subway station in Kyiv could be commissioned on Kyiv Day in 2013, President of PJSC Kyivmetrobud Volodymyr Petrenko told journalists in Kyiv on Friday.
He said the launch of the station was delayed due to a problem with funding.
Ipodrom subway station will open this October, Petrenko said.
In turn, the head of the Kyiv Metropolitan municipal enterprise, Volodymyr Fedorenko, said that the construction of Ipodrom station is 75% ready, and the construction of its left and right running tunnels is over.
As reported, earlier Head of Kyiv City State Administration Oleksandr Popov said that the construction of two new Kyiv subway stations – Ipodrom and Teremky – is being carried out according to schedule and that the stations would be commissioned by the end of the current year.
