You're reading: Third entrance at Holosiyivska subway station opened

On Jan. 6 the third entrance at the Holosiyivska subway station was opened. The entrance is an underground passage under the October 40th Anniversary Avenue.

The press service of Kyiv city administration reported that the opening of the entrance would allow boosting the passage capacity of Holosiyivska Square and ensure stable movement of transport in the avenue. The length of the underground passage is 94 meters and its width is six meters.

Thanks to the application of new technologies and modern materials, a passage complex has been built, which is in line with all requirements and safety standards. Entrance ramps and lifts are foreseen for disabled people.

The Holosiyivska subway station was launched on December 15, 2010 along with Vasylkivska and Demiyivska subway stations.
