Ballet lovers will have a real treat this week as the famous Aida Gomez of Spain will perform in Kyiv with a group of flamenco dancers as a part of their ongoing tour across Europe,USA, Japan and China.
Born in Madrid in 1967, Gomez has been dancing since the age of 12.
And it’s not just anything she will dance, either.
The group is bringing Carmen, an iconic Spanish story of beauty and passion, performed to the music of the French composer Georges Bizet’s and the Flamenco tunes specially composed for the show by modern composer Spanish Jose Antonio Rodriguez.
