The whole range of Crimean Tatars folk arts will go on display in Pirogovo, the famous outdoor museum just outside of Kyiv, on May 26-27.

There will be dancing and singing, stoneware, embroideries and felt craft on display, as well as jewelry and hand-woven carpets . Books will be for sale on the complicated history of the people who were deported from Crimea by Stalin, and returned to their home land after Ukraine’s independence.
There will be a presentation of national costumes by designer Halide Chilinhirova, as well as master classes in weaving, embroidery and minting.
