The 17th annual Kyiv Lions Club Burns Night, in honor of Scottish poet Robert Burns, raised more than $120,000 for charity – a record for the event, says organizer Stuart McKenzie of Pulse marketing and communications firm. The more than 500 guests at Burns Night enjoyed plentiful drink, food and entertainment – including performances by Kamaliya and Tina Karol – at the March 31 event.
