The 17th annual Kyiv Lions Club Burns Night, in honor of Scottish poet Robert Burns, raised more than $120,000 for charity – a record for the event, says organizer Stuart McKenzie of Pulse marketing and communications firm. More information about the local chapter of the international community service organization can be found at www.kyivlionsclub.org. (Courtesy photos)

The more than 500 guests at Burns Night enjoyed plentiful drink, food and entertainment – including performances by Kamaliya and Tina Karol – at the March 31 event.
