Fifteen Kyiv restaurants will open their doors to food connoisseurs offering an attractive deal on their chefs’ most scrumptious culinary items. The restaurants participating in “Ukrainian Restaurant Season” offer a fixed deal: Hr 145 for a three-course meal and Hr 195 for four-course dishes, regardless of the items.

The concept of the project was developed in 1990 in New York and has spread across the United States.

Now Kyiv and Lviv join the international culinary trend. Among Kyiv’s restaurants participating in the project are BarBQ, GastroRock, Tike, Kazbek, Spotykach, Tampopo and others.

The wording of this article is misleading. Kyiv has more then 15 restaurants.

And many of those not counted in the 15 are just as good, if not better, then those counted here, and cost a hell of a lot less.

Heck, give me Puzata Hata. Ate better there than in any of the 'upper crust' restaurants I've ever visited.

I have a question for anyone.

There is a Dari (ice cream shop) where I live is horribly over priced.

Any and all extras are an extra 50 cents.

plain sandwich with fries $4.50 add a pickel .50 cheese .50 ect... It's like 2.25 for a small drink. And the price of everything is $7.75

Just what to know if it's the same over here?

Yum, Kiev restaurants! Prices higher than you find in London, Paris, or New York City for horrible food that people in those cities would laugh at! Incredibly vulgar decor to appeal to the "businessmen" (ie. fat gangsters and pimps and their overdressed "girlfriends") who park their Bentleys and Cadillac Escalades on the sidewalk outside!

Guys standing at the door who look like they're auditioning for the Stalin-era KGB! Fashion TV on multiple screens! Bottles of super-expensive wine that the ignorant rich morons pay for even though they know nothing about wine!

Yes, Kiev restaurants rule!
