This season’s Ukrainian Fashion Week is scheduled to take place on Oct. 10-14 at Mystetsky Arsenal, UFW’s founder Iryna Danilevska announced at a press-conference on Sept. 10.
The five days of 31th Ukrainian Fashion Week will be filled with 39 fashion shows prepared by 45 designers., including Ukraine’s fashion heavyweights like Lilya Poustovit, Andre Tan, Lilya Litkovskaya and others.
Apart from Ukrainian designers, there’ll be several guests of UFW from Georgia, Poland and Germany doing their own shows.
According to Danilevska, this season’s fashion week will host several art projects, apart from fashion shows. The main of them, Art Platform for Ukrainian Designers will start on Oct. 10. It will feature art installations by 15 designers, whose careers development is tightly connected to UFW. Installations will show designers’ inspiration found in life and in fashion.
