The aunt of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and the head of a regional organization of the Batkivschyna Party, Antonina Ulyakhina, says that the ex-premier could be released on Nov. 17-18.

“They will wait until last minute… Yulia Volodymyrivna could be released on Nov. 17-18,” Ulyakhina said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine on Oct. 28.

She said that if Tymoshenko is pardoned or amnestied, she would leave for Germany for treatment as soon as possible.

Ulyakhina noted that Tymoshenko could also take her mother for treatment abroad.

“Yulia Volodymyrivna’s mother suffers problems with her spine, her legs go numb. She is in Dnipropetrovsk. Our doctors provide her with necessary treatment. If Yulia is released and goes for treatment abroad, she will take her mother there,” Ulyakhina said.
