First Deputy Head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, Iryna Akimova, has said that reports in a number of online media, according to which she was allegedly involved in a conflict with a customs official in Vienna airport, are untrue. "There was no so-called Vienna conflict and scandal in Vienna airport. This info is what journalists call unprofessional black PR," Akimova told reporters at a briefing on Kyiv on April 12.

She added that she was working in the building of the presidential administration of Ukraine at the time of the alleged incident, and anyone could check this.

"I know that such things are possible, and I hope that every journalist will thoroughly check their sources of information," she added.
