You're reading: Another member of parliament from BYT joins coalition

MP Volodymyr Ivanenko from the BYT faction has joined the Stability and Reforms coalition, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Volodymyr Lytvyn, has announced in the parliament on Tuesday. Thus, the coalition includes 241 MPs. Ivanenko is the tenth representative of the BYT to join the coalition as an independent MP.

On March 11, 2010, the Verkhovna Rada formed the Stability and Reforms coalition. The coalition was formed by factions of the Regions Party, the Bloc of Lytvyn, the Communist Party of Ukraine, along with independent MPs from the Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defence Bloc and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko.
