You're reading: Appeals by Tymoshenko’s allies submitted to Prosecutor General’s Office

Ukraine's Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka hat met with 15 members of the BYT-Batkivschyna faction, who brought a number of appeals to the Prosecutor General's Office.

In these appeals the MPs demand the dropping the pre-trial investigation into a criminal case on the United Energy Systems of Ukraine Corporation and the closure of the case, as well as taking Tymoshenko from Kachanivska penal colony for examination and treatment, the PGO’s media relations department reported on Friday, March 23.

"These applications were registered in the manner prescribed by law and will be considered within the required time," the statement reads.
