Mykolaiv – Regions Party leader and Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that UDAR Party leader Vitali Klitschko, before going into politics, could try his hand at the local level.

“Klitschko is a very talented athlete. I have a proposal for him as
an athlete. What kind of statesman is he? He should try his hand at
simpler things. Someone always claims to be the mayor of Kyiv. But why
Kyiv? There’s such a town as Boyarka. Let’s try to allow him to lead
this town,” he said in an interview with Mykolaiv Regional Television
and Radio Company in Mykolaiv on Friday.

The prime minister also said he doubts that people who gathered
around Klitschko could conduct useful activities for the country in
public posts.
