Changes in the composition of Ukraine government to bring it into line with the requirements of the constitution of 1996 will be gradual and will be a part of a comprehensive reform of the executive branch, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said.

"We have agreed that we are preparing a comprehensive reform of administrative system. The government is already preparing it. And as part of this reform, we will consistently take decisions on the number of structural units of each ministry, such as the number of deputies, and their functions," he said at a press conference in Chernihiv on Tuesday, asked when the number of vice-premiers will be reduced.

Azarov also said that he had discussed this issue with the president.
