Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has said that mass protests can bring only losses and destruction to Ukraine.
“There won’t be more bread, butter, meat or swimming pools resulting from the barricades in our country, there will only be losses and destruction,” he said at the opening ceremony of the Olympic training center for winter sports in Brovary (Kyiv region) on Wednesday.
“This is what we have to realize. All is in on our hands and minds: if we argue and accuse each other [of things], nothing good will come of it.”
Azarov also added that he was pleased that such sports facilities were opening in the country despite the difficult economic situation.
