St. Petersburg - The subject of repaying the debt of the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation to the Russian Defense Ministry was not discussed at a meeting with the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.
"This topic was not discussed [with Putin] yesterday. It is out of tune with the development of our bilateral relations. If we are keen on seeing our relations run into a deadlock, this topic can be discussed. If we are keen to develop our relations, then I am not going to raise this subject at my own initiative," he told journalists in St. Petersburg on Wednesday.
