You're reading: Cabinet allocates nearly 1.609 million dollars for emergency evacuation of Ukrainians from Gaza

The Cabinet has allocated about Hr 1.609 million for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to urgently evacuate Ukrainian citizens from the Gaza Strip. 

This is stipulated in government resolution No. 1056-r dated Oct. 30.

The funds for this will be taken by the Finance Ministry from the reserve fund of the national budget.

The State Emergency Service will evacuate Ukrainians by planes belonging to Ukrainian airlines and bring them by road to Kyiv.

The Health Ministry will arrange paramedical first aid points at airports where the planes with evacuated citizens will arrive.

The State Fiscal Service was instructed to ensure prompt customs clearance of the passengers and crew members on board the planes.

The State Border Service was tasked to handle as a matter of priority the passengers and crew members when crossing the state border.
