You're reading: Central Election Commission registers 65 more people’s deputies

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 65 more people's deputies on the results of the parliamentary elections in Ukraine that were held on Oct. 28, 2012. 

At a sitting on Wednesday the CEC registered 24 MPs that were elected in majority constituencies and 41 people’s deputies elected under party lists.

Thus, 167 people’s deputies, including 115 members of the Regions Party and 28 members of the Batkivschyna United Opposition, have been registered as of Wednesday.

The CEC registered seven members of the Regions Party that passed to the parliament under the party list, including Taisiya Povaliy (No. 2 on the party list), Yuriy Miroshnychenko (No. 39), and Artem Scherban (No. 57).

The CEC also registered 17 members of Batkivschyna, including Oleksandr Abdullin (No. 28 on the party list), Kostiantyn Bondarev (No. 45), Ivan Kyrylenko (No. 15), Hennadiy Moskal (No. 32), and Lesia Orobets (No. 26).

The CEC also registered 41 people’s deputies elected in single-seat constituencies, including 21 from the Regions Party, 11 from Batkivschyna, eight self-nominated candidates, and one member of the Yedyny Tsentr Party.

Particularly, the CEC registered as people’s deputies from the Regions Party Yulia Liovochkina (constituency No. 6), Hryhoriy Kaletnik (No. 18), and Valentyn Landyk (No. 43).

The CEC also registered the following people’s deputies from Batkivschyna: Mykola Katerynchuk (constituency No. 13), Volodymyr Bondarenko (No. 219), Ksenia Liapina (No. 216), Serhiy Teriokin (No. 211), Oleksandr Chornovolenko (No. 220), and Volodymyr Yavorivsky (No. 213).

In addition, the CEC registered Vasyl Petiovka (constituency No. 72) from the Yedyny Tsentr Party.
