The tenth extraordinary congress of judges of general courts has passed a decision through a secret vote to dismiss four judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine – Yaroslav Machuzhak, Ivan Dombrovsky, Anatoliy Didkivsky and Viacheslav Dzhun.

A total of 86 out of 91 delegates of the congress, who took part in the voting, supported this decision. Two voted against it, and three ballots were declared invalid.

As reported, earlier on Thursday with a simple majority vote, the congress of judges supported the dismissal of these four judges of the Constitutional Court and nominated four candidates for the vacant posts.

However, the congress participants then noted that the judges should be dismissed through a secret ballot and decided to conduct a repeat vote.
