Kyiv's Pechersky District Court on Tuesday completed the questioning of former Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko and postponed its session until 10.00 on Feb. 8 to allow the parties time to prepare their additional arguments, the People's Self-Defense Party has reported.

Prosecutors, lawyers and judges put questions to Lutsenko at a court session on Tuesday.

Lutsenko again said that he had not violated the law and that he did not consider himself guilty of his alleged crimes.

In particular, the presiding judge, Serhiy Vovk, asked him whether the drivers of all ministers and deputy ministers worked in the operational unit, Lutsenko said: "[the ex-minister’s driver Leonid] Prystupliuk informed me about the situation, possible provocations and possible accidents. He was not just a driver."

At the end of Lutsenko’s interrogation, the court adjourned the session until February 8 so that participants in the process have time to prepare for the stage of additions for judicial review.

Then, the procedure envisages the counter-arguments of the parties, and then the closing arguments of the defendants, after which the court will retire to the deliberation room to consider its verdict.
