Court dismisses Yanukovych's suit against Tymoshenko concerning unsanctioned election funds

Kyiv's Administrative Court of Appeal has dismissed a suit by leader Regions Party presidential nominee Viktor Yanukovych against rival candidate and current Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the press service of the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko (BYT) reported. Yanukovych's representatives had charged that the prime minister was taking money for her election campaign from sources other than her election fund, Tymoshenko's representative in court Olena Isayevska told Interfax-Ukraine.
The Kyiv Post is disabling its online comment section due to an increase in trolls, violent comments and other personal attacks. Other news organizations worldwide have taken similar steps for the same reasons. The Kyiv Post regrets having to take this action. The newspaper believes in a robust public debate, but the discussion must be constructive and intelligent. For the time being, the Kyiv Post will allow comments on its moderated Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/kyivpost/.
