The Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine has stripped a member of the Party of Regions faction, Andriy Verevsky, of his seat in parliament.

“The lawsuit by Rybak has been satisfied. The parliamentary powers of
Verevsky have been terminated. The ruling is final and cannot be
appealed,” Interfax-Ukraine learned at the court’s press service.

As reported, last week, the regulations committee of the Verkhovna
Rada passed a decision to deprive Batkivschyna parliamentary faction
member Serhiy Vlasenko and Regions Party parliamentary faction member
Andriy Verevsky of their parliamentary seats. Chairman of the Verkhovna
RadaVolodymyr Rybak filed relevant lawsuits to Higher Administrative
Court of Ukraine.

According to the rating of Ukrainian billionaires published by
Forbes, the largest stockholder in the Kernel farming group, Andriy
Verevsky, whose fortune was estimated at $1 billion in 2012, is at the
bottom of the Forbes Billionaires list, in 1,342nd position.
