First Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg has said that the expulsion of two Czech diplomats from Kyiv may be Ukraine's response to Prague recently granting political asylum to Ukrainian ex-minister of economy Bohdan Danylyshyn.

The Czech foreign minister made this comment on the news of the expulsion of the Czech diplomats from Kyiv, according to the Czech Idnes newspaper.

"There is a suspicion that this is not about spying, but a response to granting asylum to Ukraine’s ex-Minister of Economy Bohdan Danylyshyn," Schwarzenberg said through his spokesman.
