Ex-deputy Chief Accountant of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Maria Kushnir has been detained in Volgograd and in the near future will be extradited to Ukraine, acting prosecutor of Kirovsky district of Volgograd Vasily Ulitin has told Interfax-South.
He said that the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine had put Kushnir on the international wanted list.
"Kushnir was detained by the special services of Volgograd in the evening of September 10 in the apartment of one of her relatives. On September 11, the court sanctioned her arrest for the term of 40 days, and at present she is in the pre-trial detention center of Volgograd," Ulitin said.
According to him, Kushnir is to be extradited within 40 days at the request of Ukraine.
