You're reading: Face-to-face interrogation between Tymoshenko, Dubyna takes place

A face-to-face interrogation is taking place between former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former Naftogaz Ukrainy CEO Oleh Dubyna, Tymoshenko has written in her micro-blog on Twitter.

"A face-to-face interrogation with Dubyna has started," she said.

Tymoshenko said that "the fabrication of an ordered political case is going at full speed."

"[The security guards of Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych are working out of fear, rather than conscience," she said.

As reported, a criminal case was opened against Dubyna for abuse of office and authority in connection with the gas contracts signed between Naftogaz and Gazprom on Jan. 19, 2009.

A criminal case was also opened against Tymoshenko for abuse of office and authority during the signing of the gas contracts in 2009.

Dubyna headed Naftogaz in December 2007 after the Tymoshenko-led government came to power.

He was dismissed from the post in early March 2010 after submitting his resignation.
