The Ukrainian government is ready to keep on working in spite of the political tensions, First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said.

“I’d like to say that the government is prepared to work even under
such complex circumstances. I am here to demonstrate that the government
is working, the government is here and the government is performing its
functions,” he said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the
leaders of Verkhovna Rada factions and committees.

“All the sustenance systems of the country are operating,” Arbuzov
said. The ministers will ask their subordinates and the people for
further operation of Ukraine’s sustenance systems, he said.

The opposition demands that the parliament put the government’s resignation to a vote on Dec. 3.
