Ukraine's footballer Andriy Shevchenko, who is second on the electoral list of Natalia Korolevska's Ukraine - Forward! Party, transferred Hr 10 million to a bank in Kyiv on Friday to support the party, the party's press service reported.
According to Shevchenko, this is his contribution into the renewal of Ukraine's politics.
"I have made my contribution in support of the party - this is my investment in the renewal of Ukrainian politics. I urge all those who share our values to help our party. Together as a team we are invincible. Ukraine will move forward!" the footballer said.
The party's press service noted that Ukraine - Forward! is collecting funds to support their campaign.
