Berlin -- German authorities rule out the possibility of providing military assistance to Ukraine, deputy spokesperson for the German government Christiane Wirtz said in Berlin on Nov. 28. 

According to her, the German authorities support Kyiv politically and economically, but do not plan to provide any military assistance.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin previously called on Germany to provide military assistance to Kyiv. He said that Ukrainian servicemen were in need of diesel engines for personnel carriers.
