Government approves draft national budget for 2011 today, Dec. 8.

According to Finance Minister of Ukraine Fedir Yaroshenko, after completion the Government will submit the budget to Verkhovna Rada by Dec. 10.

"The decision was taken and the draft national budget was approved. The decision was unanimously taken… there is the instruction by the premier to complete this draft law with regard to expenses… the draft national budget will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by [December] 10," said Yaroshenko at a briefing during a cabinet meeting in Kyiv.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that inflation is projected at a level of 8.9% in the draft national budget of Ukraine for 2010. The government also plans to reduce the deficit of the national budget to 3.5% of GDP.
