Grytsenko: Party-switchers won't be mass in new parliament

The power will force MPs of the new convocation to pass to the pro-presidential coalition, but a mass phenomenon of cross-over deputies is not expected, parliamentary candidate from the Batkivschyna united opposition Anatoliy Grytsenko forecasts (No. 3 in the list). 

"They will lure some of them, using posts, money and property. Others will be broken down, because Viktor Yanukovych wants to change the Constitution to govern forever. He needs 300 votes for this. And he fears that the opposition would keep its word [not to betray its political party]," Grytsenko said on the air of Channel Five.

He also expressed the view that the phenomenon of cross-over deputies would not be massive in the new parliament.

"I do not rule out that there will be some single cases, but it will be anomalous, because people do not perceive such a betrayal, it is rejected by the society," the politician said.

Earlier parliamentary candidates from the Batkivschyna united opposition swore they would not enter into an alliance with the Party of Regions in the new parliament.
