Kyiv police have completed a search for possible explosives at the Teatralna subway station - none have been found and the station resumed work in an orderly fashion.

“Teatralna station is already open, and no explosives were found,” the Kyiv police press office informed.

According to the press service, police opened a criminal case under
the Article 259 (deliberately false report on a threat to the security
of the citizens, and the destruction of or damage to property).

As reported, the Kyiv police received a message through the 102 phone
line from unidentified people that bombs had been planted at three
metro stations in the center of the city – Teatralna, Khreschatyk and
Maidan Nezalezhnosti. The stations were closed, and trains ran through
them without stopping.
