Pechersky District Court judge Rodion Kireyev has threatened to remove former Ukrainian Prime Minister and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko from the courtroom if she continues to show disrespect for the court.
"I warn you that if you continue to behave like this, you will be removed from the courtroom," the judge told Tymoshenko.
Earlier, Tymoshenko and her lawyer, Mykola Tytarenko, demanded the withdrawal of the presiding judge Kireyev because of his decision to ban the photo, video recording and broadcasting of the questioning of witnesses.
"The actions of the presiding judge completely disregard the principles of transparency and openness in the judicial process," Tytarenko said.
