KHARKIV - Kyivsky District Court of Kharkiv has postponed the hearing of the case involving the United Energy Systems of Ukraine (UESU) Corporation against Ukraine's former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko until June 25.

"The court has decided that the case cannot be tried in the absence of defendant Tymoshenko and her lawyers. The court hearing has been adjourned until 1000 on June 25," Judge Kostiantyn Sadovsky said.

The judge gave his decision without retiring to the decision room immediately after the lawyers for the prosecution and defense stated their positions, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported.
