You're reading: Khoroshkovsky announces his return to politics to conduct reforms

Ex-first vice prime minister of Ukraine and now person number two in the list of the Strong Ukraine party Valeriy Khoroshkovsky intends to return to policies to tackle reforms in the country.

“In this difficult time for the country, it is a personal challenge for me – the experience and opportunities the country gave me demand their return. If people allow us to come to power, it will mean that we are really able to bring positive changes and reforms Sergiy Tigipko and I intend to conduct. Even working a government that was not ready for this,” Khoroshkovsky said in the Podrobytsi Tyzhnia on Inter Channel.

Khoroshkovsky criticized the professional experience of the current government and called for reforms.

“Even during this difficult period there is the opportunity to provide 80 percent of the population with prospects for the future,” he said.

The politician accuses the current government of causing losses at more than 50 percent of enterprises, as well paying Hr 46 billion only on servicing foreign debts.
