You're reading: Klitschko: We’re not speaking about coalition with opposition, we propose joint action plan

Leader of the UDAR Party Vitali Klitschko did not confirm his party's intention to create a coalition with the Batkivschyna United Opposition and the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, of the seventh convocation.

“I think it’s premature to speak about creation of blocs, coalitions, or some unions. We are speaking about a joint action plan,” he said on Sunday.

“It will be a joint action plan on certain issues, which we should stand on,” Klitschko said, and added that he meant fight against corruption, irresponsibility of the authorities, and restoration of local governments.

“There are preliminary documents, they will be passed to leaders of political forces, with which we are ready to sit and discuss the action plan,” Klitschko said. However, he did not name exactly the forces, with which UDAR is ready to cooperate.

At the same time, Klitschko said that UDAR will not cooperate with the Regions Party and the Communist Party of Ukraine.
