You're reading: Kliuyev: Program for Ukraine’s social and economic development in 2012 foresees growth in GDP

The draft program for the social and economic development of Ukraine in 2012 and the main areas of development for 2013-2014 envisage a 6.5% increase in the country's gross domestic product (GDP), First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Andriy Kliuyev has said.

While presenting the document at a government meeting in Kyiv on Sept.14, he said that the task had been set to reduce inflation in 2012 to 7.9%.

Kliuyev added that the document envisaged an 8.3% increase in industrial production and a 5.1% increase in agriculture.
