Regions Party MP Vadym Kolesnichenko has said that certain opposition deputies will soon join the parliamentary faction of the Regions Party.
"Talks on such MPs as [Serhiy] Vlasenko, [Natalia] Korolevska, [Yuriy] Tryndiuk and [Serhiy] Pashynsky joining our faction have almost reached their final stage. A respective statement will be announced at the next plenary meeting [of parliament]," he was quoted as saying by the party’s press service on Friday.
Kolesnichenko also said that apart from these MPs, seven more lawmakers would quit the BYT-Batkivschyna faction.
"However, they have currently decided not to join any faction in the Verkhovna Rada," he said.
