You're reading: Kremlin doesn’t disclose details of Putin-Hollande talks

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov refrains from disclosing details of negotiations between the Russian and French presidents regarding the Free Syrian Army's possible involvement in the settlement process in Syria.

“I wouldn’t like to disclose nuances of the exchange of opinions that has taken place. It was very constructive and very detailed,” Peskov told journalists on Oct. 8.

Some media suggested earlier that French President Francois Hollande had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that the Free Syrian Army could coordinate its actions with the Syrian government forces. However, official statements made later in France pointed out that the matter concerned only the Free Syrian Army’s possible involvement in a political settlement process in Syria.
